Andy from Use Your Garage space came to us because his website wasn’t getting the amount of leads he wanted and he had seen the previous work that we had done with MJP Electrical. We suggested our proven SEO strategy to him which included:
- Website rebuild – making the site faster to load, built in SEO and making it easier to update the site in the future
- Keyword research – identifying the search terms that users input into search engines to ensure that we include these in any new web copy
- Competitor Analysis – ensuring that the new website ranks for the same search terms as our clients’ competitors

- Social Media – Posting regularly to our client’s social media channels, including Facebook page, LinkedIn profile, GMB and others. We also periodically share these posts on local Facebook groups to introduce new prospective clients to this business.
- Geographical Landing Pages – we created local, bespoke pages that are designed to target the geographical areas that the client covers. This not only creates geographical relevance, but we can also include case studies in the future from these areas to really build evidence and trust in our client.

This represents a +600% increase in clicks, a ~350% increase in impressions (number of times the website appeared in search) and the average position in Google Search went from 40 to 19.5, with over 100 of our geographical landing pages appearing on page 1 of the search results, with 81 of those appearing in the top 3!

Given that we are only 5 months in, our work is far from over, and we fully expect these early results to compound over time and the business to grow accordingly.
Note: We get a lot of clients asking if we run Google or Facebook ads to which we reply, yes, but have you considered SEO?! The problem with Ads is that you pay for every lead and you are not guaranteed a conversion. Therefore you need a large budget and have to expect to pay this for as long as you want to run the campaign. When the campaign stops, so do the leads. With SEO, the work that we do can increase the number of leads more naturally, the leads are already in a buying phase and looking for solutions or service providers and therefore easier to convert and once we stop working for you, the benefits of our efforts continue to help your business grow. Therefore, we see Search Engine Optimisation as a better Return on Investment for your business and a more reliable, long-term investment in your business.
